YOU ARE NOT ALONE
A Space to Just Be You
You may have been carrying something for a long time, or you may be in a season where everything looks fine on the outside while something feels off underneath. You may know exactly what you want to work on, or you may simply know that things could feel better than they do. All of those are reasons to begin.
You might be feeling:
-
Anxious, overwhelmed, or stretched too thin
-
Stuck in patterns you understand but cannot seem to change
-
Disconnected from yourself, your work, or the people around you
-
Carrying something heavy from your past that still affects today
-
In the middle of a transition that has left you uncertain
-
Tired of being the strong one and ready for support of your own
-
Hopeful about who you could become with the right kind of space
If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone, and you do not have to figure it out by yourself. Individual therapy offers steady, nonjudgmental support, whatever you are working through.
REASONS TO BEGIN
Why Individual Therapy?
Therapy is not only for crisis. It is for anyone who wants more clarity, steadier emotional ground, healthier relationships, or a deeper understanding of themselves. Some clients come in for support through a hard chapter. Others come in feeling mostly okay and wanting to grow, process, or rebuild a healthier relationship with themselves.
Many of us have learned to handle hard things by pushing through, staying busy, or quietly carrying more than we should. Therapy offers something different. A space where you do not have to perform, manage, or hold it together. A space to just be you, and to be supported in the work of becoming who you want to be next.
WHERE WE CAN HELP
What We Work On Together
OUR APPROACH
Integrative, Trauma-Informed, and Always at Your Pace
We believe therapy works best when it is shaped around you, rather than fit into a single method. Depending on what you bring in and what feels useful, we may draw from cognitive behavioral approaches, dialectical behavior skills, somatic awareness, mindfulness, attachment-informed care, and EMDR for deeper trauma work.
More than any one approach, what matters most is that you feel met. We work to create a space where you can be honest, take your time, and trust the process. You will not be diagnosed at the door or handed a treatment plan that does not feel like yours. The work is collaborative, and the pace is always something we decide together.

YOUR FIRST SESSIONS
What to Expect in Individual Therapy
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if it is your first time or if it has been a while. Here is a gentle overview of how the work usually begins.
In the first session, we will spend time getting to know you. There is no pressure to have your story polished or your goals figured out. We will talk about what is bringing you in, what you are hoping for, and a bit about your history. You can share as much or as little as feels right.
In the early sessions, we focus on building trust and getting a clearer sense of what would be most helpful. Sometimes that means diving into a specific concern. Other times it means slowing down, building skills, and creating a steady foundation before going deeper. The pace is yours.
Most clients meet weekly to start, which helps build momentum and continuity. Over time, the frequency often adjusts as the work evolves. Whatever you are bringing in, the goal is for therapy to feel like a space you actually want to be in.
